The TELL: Coming to America
Whether immigrating to the United States, returning home after years abroad, coming back from travel with a renewed perspective, or rediscovering a sense of connection to the country during challenging times.
The TELL: Anything Goes! (Student Showcase)
Part of a weeklong student showcase, the public is invited to bring a story of any theme to take place on Castle Hill’s stage. Storytellers get 7 minutes for their story (with a max of 6 storytellers every show). Send us a message if you want to TELL with us, or come to the show early at 6:30pm to sign up to TELL. This show will have a max of 8 storytellers. Tickets are only $20 and supports the amazing work that Castle Hill does.
The TELL: Hippy Days
From hitchhiking across the country and sleeping under the stars to unforgettable concerts, commune life, anti-war demonstrations, and cross-country adventures, these stories capture the freedom and idealism that characterized the 1960s, and beyond.
The TELL: My Biggest Fear
Fears of heights, or public speaking, or the ocean, or illness, or failure, or loss. These stories may reveal fear of rejection, loneliness, aging, change, commitment, or the unknown. Along the way, storytellers share moments of vulnerability, courage, humor, and transformation.
The TELL: Doctor! Doctor!
From hilarious emergency room misadventures and bizarre injuries to mysterious illnesses and poignant life-changing diagnoses, these stories explore what happens when things go wrong and we have to figure out how to heal.
The TELL: At Your Service
From behind the bar, the counter, the kitchen pass, or the front desk—this show invites true stories from life on the service front lines. Come prepared with a tale of demanding customers, unspoken rules, unexpected grace, or the moments that made you laugh, cry, or rethink humanity while on the clock.

That moment you jumped without a net—said yes before you knew how, trusted your gut over the evidence, or took a risk that changed your path. Come ready to share a tale of bold belief, brave uncertainty, and what happened when you stepped into the unknown.

From chance encounters and close calls to unexpected twists of fate, storytellers share true tales where luck—good, bad, or hilariously in-between—changed everything. Come prepared with a story about the moment fortune intervened, coincidence struck, or the universe winked and said “you’re welcome.”
